As the peak of summer brings prolonged extreme heat, manufacturing companies face increasing challenges in maintaining both operational resilience and employee well-being. Against the backdrop of the record-breaking heatwaves across Eastern China in 2026, Centersky Electric remains committed to its people-first philosophy, recognizing that employees are the foundation of sustainable productivity.
To safeguard the health and safety of our workforce, the company has established a comprehensive summer protection program covering four key dimensions: essential welfare support, optimized work scheduling, workplace environment enhancement, and personalized protective measures. Every initiative is developed based on workplace risk assessments, employee feedback, and equipment operating data, ensuring that each measure delivers practical, measurable, and sustainable value rather than symbolic care.
1. A Long-Standing Commitment to Employee Well-being
Since the company’s establishment, seasonal welfare programs have been an integral part of Centersky Electric’s employee benefits system. Every summer, heat-relief care packages are distributed to all frontline employees across manufacturing, quality inspection, logistics, warehousing, and other operational departments.
Each package focuses on practical daily necessities, including towels, body wash, cooling arm sleeves, and other summer essentials selected for their usefulness in the workplace. All procurement follows a rigorous supplier evaluation process to ensure product quality, safety, and reliability, allowing every gesture of care to reach employees with confidence.
2. Scientific Work Scheduling for Safety and Efficiency
In accordance with the official high-temperature response guidelines issued by the local meteorological authorities, Centersky Electric implemented a Flexible High-Temperature Working Schedule beginning on July 1.
During the hottest period of each day—from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.—operations across the company’s six major production lines are temporarily suspended. Employees are encouraged to rest in designated cooling areas equipped with complimentary cold beverages and first-aid stations stocked with essential heat-relief supplies, including Huoxiang Zhengqi liquid, cooling balm, medicated oils, and other emergency medications. Dedicated safety personnel conduct routine inspections and inventory management to ensure continuous availability.
This mechanism has been formally incorporated into the company’s Production Scheduling Management Procedures, making it a standardized and long-term operational practice.
For high-temperature production areas, particularly around annealing furnaces and other major heat sources, commercial-grade ice-making equipment has been installed to provide a continuous 24-hour supply of ice. Additional purified drinking water stations have also been deployed throughout the workshops, creating a cooler, safer, and more comfortable working environment.
3. Personalized Protection for Every Employee
Following comprehensive assessments of thermal workload and ergonomic conditions across different positions, Centersky Electric allocated dedicated funding to provide every frontline operator with an individual intelligent portable air-conditioning unit featuring temperature-control functionality.
Operating under the principle of “One Employee, One Unit, One Maintenance Record,” each unit is supported through standardized training, routine maintenance, and calibration managed by the Equipment Management Department, ensuring consistent cooling performance throughout its service life.
