Process and technology for manufacturing transformer laminations

The transformer core is an important part of the transformer, and its quality and performance directly affect the efficiency and stability of the transformer. The following will introduce the process and technology for manufacturing transformer laminations:

1. Raw material preparation: First, silicon steel strips need to be prepared as raw materials for transformer laminations. Silicon steel strip has low magnetic permeability and low loss, which can effectively reduce the eddy current loss of the iron sheet during operation.

2. Cutting: The raw material silicon steel strip needs to be cut accurately according to the design requirements. Equipment such as CNC punch machines or flying shears are usually used to ensure that the cut iron sheets are accurate in size and have smooth edges.

3. Forming: The cut silicon steel strips are formed into iron sheets with specific shapes through lamination and pressing. The molding process needs to control the temperature and pressure to ensure that the density and shape of the core sheet meet the requirements.

4. Heat treatment: The formed iron sheet needs to be heat treated to eliminate internal residual stress and improve its magnetic permeability. By controlling the heating temperature and time, the iron chip can obtain ideal performance during the heat treatment process.

5. Surface treatment: Finally, the surface of the iron chip is treated, including degreasing, polishing and plating processes to improve the corrosion resistance and appearance quality of the iron chip.

Through the above manufacturing processes and technologies, transformer laminations with stable quality and excellent performance are produced, ensuring that the transformer works efficiently and stably during the power transmission and conversion process, and provides reliable support and guarantee for the power system.
